I come from Toronto, Canada where I grew up in a bilingual family and a bustling, multinational environment. Later, we moved to Budapest in Hungary and I earned my English Linguistics and Teaching Masters Degree there. I continued my studies by obtaining two Cambridge University qualifications to specialize in communicative English language teaching to adults and young learners.    

Fresh out of university, I worked at an English language nursery and kindergarten immersing 2-5 year-old kids in the English language world through fun and games. It is a miracle to see these little sponges naturally and effortlessly absorb words, expressions, intonation with a native pronunciation. 

Based on my own bilingual background and working with kids this age, I am convinced that it is the gift of a lifetime to expose a child to a second/third language early on in their life.    

In the following years I worked with adults and business professionals of many different backgrounds in Budapest, New York City and Brussels.  

In the last 6 years I had the opportunity to work in the European Parliament in Brussels as an executive assistant and speechwriter. It was a very enriching experience to work in such a ‘Babel’ – like environment with 24 official languages spoken by 40 000 colleagues.   

However, I always knew that my heart was set on teaching. So now, here I am in Royan, I welcome you to English & you if you would like to learn, refresh or perfect your English skills.
